Connect Zoom

Reef is a product of Lobster Computer, Inc. ("we", "us", "Reef"). This guide explains how to connect your Zoom account to Reef, what Reef can do with it, and how to remove it. Questions: privacy@lobstercomputer.com.

What connecting Zoom does

Connecting Zoom lets an AI agent working on your behalf in Reef schedule and manage your own Zoom meetings — for example, when you ask it to put a call on your calendar, it creates the Zoom meeting and attaches the join link to the calendar invite. Reef acts as the Zoom account you authorize, and only for the capabilities below.

Delete a meeting	Cancel a meeting you ask to remove

Mutating actions (creating or deleting a meeting) are taken on your behalf and, where applicable, staged for your approval before they run.

How to connect Zoom

1. In Reef, open Settings → Connections.
2. Find Zoom and choose Connect.
3. You are redirected to Zoom's authorization screen, which lists the access Reef is requesting. Review it and click Allow.
4. You return to Reef with Zoom connected. You can now ask the agent to schedule or manage Zoom meetings.

How to remove Zoom

You can disconnect at any time:

• In Reef. Open Settings → Connections, find Zoom, and choose Remove. This deletes Reef's stored Zoom tokens and stops further access.
• From Zoom. You can also revoke Reef directly in the Zoom App Marketplace: go to marketplace.zoom.us, open Manage → Added Apps, find Reef, and click Remove.

Removing the connection from either side revokes Reef's access; do both if you want to be certain.

How your data is handled

• Credentials. Your Zoom OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are decrypted only in memory, when needed to act on your behalf.
• Meeting content. Reef does not retain meeting content beyond fulfilling the request you made (for example, returning a join link to put on your calendar).
• Transport. All data moves over encrypted (TLS) connections.
• Scope. Access is scoped to you; Reef does not use your Zoom data to train general-purpose models.
