Reef by Lobster Computer

Reef by Lobster Computer is the app you open to use your AI agent.

You connect your own accounts — including Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Tasks, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Slack — and an AI agent works on your behalf across them: drafting and sending email, reading and organizing your calendar and tasks, working with your documents, and bringing information you choose into a private, personal knowledge base that only you and your agent can see.

The shared Reef Slack app is a read-only connection for search, summaries, and private knowledge. It uses each person's own Slack authorization and does not expand their access to channels or direct messages.

What Reef does with your Google data

When you connect your Google account, Reef requests only the scopes needed for the features you use, and acts only on the accounts you explicitly connect:

• Gmail — read your mail so your agent can search, summarize, and ingest messages you choose into your knowledge base, and send or reply to email you or your agent compose.
• Calendar & Tasks — read your events and tasks, and create or update them at your direction.
• Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides — search, read, create, and edit your files when you ask your agent to work with them.

Mutating actions (sending mail, editing or sharing files, changing events) are taken on your behalf and, where applicable, staged for your approval before they run. You can disconnect any provider at any time from Settings → Connections, which revokes Reef's access.
